I could easily fill this post with lots of cliche`s like "you're only as old as you feel", but I will spare you those. I'll just cut straight to the point and tell you that I recently saw a video that inspired me to not let myself start feeling "old".

I turn 40 on Halloween. Regardless of whether you think that's young, old, or somewhere in between, it's definitely a milestone for most people. I don't feel like I'm in my 20's, but that is definitely self induced by my terrible diet and lack of exercise. This video of a true athlete, aged 94, who still hits the ice 3 times a week helped to put things in perspective for me. I know that genetics certainly plays a big role in the way we age, but I think most people could do more for themselves to ensure they have a healthy future.
