My friends from the "Billings Reckless Drivers" group on Facebook will like this one. (Except for the part where I don't call anybody one of those three-part names).

This one happens almost every morning on my way to work about 4:45. Southbound out of the Heights, and the drivers want to turn left and head out to Lockwood. Except, the left turn lights are red.

So, they go another half block and "flip a U-turn." That is considered "Avoidance of a Traffic Control Device."

And, while you hardly ever see people get stopped for it, it is a ticketable offense. That's why I've always tried to drive in such a manner that the officers will not have to decide if what I just did with my car is "borderline" or not. I always make it easy for them.
