Homesteader Days Has Something For Everyone!

Like summer? Well nothing says summer fun like Homesteader days in Huntley July 13^th - 14th. Gather up the whole family, yep Grandma and Grandpa too, and head to the Annual Homesteader Days Celebration! There really is something for everyone! Headlining is Sammy Kershaw on Friday, gates open at 5:30 pm and then live music begins at 7:00 pm. Just before and then after , Sammy  Kershaw and the Bucky Beaver Ground Grippers will perform. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the gate.

For $2 on Saturday, people get in on a full day of fun, starting at 8 am. There will be food booths, games, live music and dancing at the beer garden which gets more entertaining as the day goes on.  There is “Fun on the Farm” an arts and crafts show, pig wrestling oh yeah! and a parade…who doesn’t like a parade? The parade is at 10 am and the Calcutta Duck Race is that afternoon at 3:30. Fun Fun Fun!
