The Billings Gazette reports that a Washington homicide suspect was arrested early Saturday morning after a foot chase outside a Hardin gas station by two members of the Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office. 36-year-old Jacob Ozuna was booked into the Big Horn County Jail at about 4 a.m. after the county sheriff’s office arrested him at around 3 a.m.

Ozuna is believed to have repeatedly shot a 35-year-old man about nine days ago on the Yakama Indian Reservation. The victim was identified as Dario Alvarado. A May 16 press release from the Yakima County Sheriff’s Office states that on the evening of May 10th at a residence outside [WAH-pah-doh], Ozuna shot the man [quote] “in the area of the face,” [end quote] after a verbal altercation and then continued shooting at him after he ducked behind an occupied vehicle.
