This past week marked the first 'How I Met Your Mother' appearance at Comic-Con 2013, but in between all the celebrations of the upcoming ninth and final season, it seems not all the major castings have yet to be filled. 'Revenge' and 'Desperate Housewives star Roger Bart becomes the latest recognizable TV star popping up to cause trouble for the 'HIMYM' gang, but as whom?

According to TVGuide, who first revealed the casting, the Tony award-winning star will take the final season role of as an employee of the Farhampton hotel in which Barney and Robin are set to conduct their wedding at some point this season. For the moment at least, it remains unclear how many episodes Bart will actually appear in.

Bart joins the current guest roster of 'The Office' star Ellie Kemper, Sherri Shepherd, and Wayne Brady reprising his role as Barney’s half-brother James Stinson for a recurring role, while we know that season 9 will take place largely across the 56-hour period leading up to Barney and Robin’s wedding, at which Ted finally meets his bride-to-be. The network also revealed that all four regulars would meet the mother (herself a newly-minted regular) prior to Ted, while individual episodes may cut back and forth through time as necessary to tell the complete story.

'How I Met Your Mother' season 9 has already gotten underway production-wise, but what say you? Are you excited to see the many guest stars joining the final season for Ted, Robin, Barney, Marshall and Lily?
