Induct Pete Rose Into the Baseball Hall of Fame

Pete Rose should be in the Baseball Hall of Fame period. Weather or not he bet on baseball is irrelevant.

The Hall of Fame is -- and should only be -- about numbers.

If character, lifestyle and court convictions all come into play, all three of the major sports halls would have half the members they have now. If a man can have sex in the Oval Office, then lie to a grand jury and sexually harass women and be elected president of the United States, then 4,256 hits ought to be enough to get Pete in.
