This weekend, July 17-19 is the 30th anniversary of the Big Sky State Games in Billings.  Karen Sanford Gall and her Big Sky State Games crew are setting up Wendy's Field-Daylis Stadium for the opening ceremonies of the Big Sky State Games.  Between July 17-19 there will be 35 sporting events taking place throughout Billings. Townsquare Media is proud to be the sponsor for the volleyball portion of the State Games.

The activity at Daylis begins at 5:30 tonight with a barbecue, speeches and the parade of more than 10,000 athletes and teams around the track. Dick Fosbury, the inventor of the Fosbury Flop high jump, will be the special guest lighting the torch.
