You think you got hit hard with snow this winter?

Capracotta, Italy got an entire season's of snow when 100.8 inches dumped down on it in 18 hours. It's believed to be a world record for most snowfall in a 24-hour stretch, currently held by Silver Lake, Colo. which was home to 75.8 inches back in 1921.

Capracotta's whiteout was pretty epic. The 100 inches were more than all the flakes dumped on Boston in January and February combined.
