Jason Aldean is a perfect three-for-three in Taste of Country Showdowns. Last night his new song ‘Take a Little Ride’ took care of Sara Evans‘ new single ‘Anywhere.’ The laid-back lead single from his upcoming album will need plenty of support online this afternoon, and tonight on Taste of Country Nights radio to topple a fourth challenger. Remember, five wins in a row gets a song to the Showdown Hall of Fame. 

Country newcomer Casey James will need support from his fans to best the country music superstar. The second single from the former ‘American Idol’ contestant’s debut album is called ‘Crying on a Suitcase.’ It’s a midtempo heartbreaker that shows the long-haired Texan’s range. The song is as easy to enjoy as a morning cup of coffee on a day off.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour. If a song wins five days in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
