Johnny Manziel Is What’s Wrong With America

The latest in a very long string of incidents featuring poor decision making by Johnny Manziel. He was indicted today for assault on his girlfriend. He hit her so hard that she temporarily lost hearing in one ear after Manziel allegedly struck her.

Now, I don't know all of the details about what's been hushed up over the course of Mr. Manziel's career, but I'm guessing that this isn't the first time that he has done something illegal. And, very likely, those others were hushed up.

In America now, we coddle. We say, "he didn't know what he was doing", or, "he's in the spotlight and you don't know what that's like." I don't...and I don't care.

What "Johnny Football" needs is a good old fashioned butt kicking. This girl's father, brothers, uncle, or somebody who loves that girl need to pay a visit and fix the problem.

This guy has been given a start that most kids only dream about and he's chosen, repeatedly, to squander what's been given to him. I hope he gets some jail time. It would do him some good. It' won't happen because he's got money, but it should.
