I have said it before and I will say it again, can we just keep with the time of year? It's getting too ridiculous for me.

I normally see it with holiday items. For example, Halloween items on store shelves by August. It has never felt right to me to see things on shelves way out of their time range.

This was a new one for me.

We walked into Big Lots on Main and Wicks in the Heights. As we got in the store there was a big display of school supplies. Didn't the kids JUST get out of school?

Freshly getting out of school as a kid, the last thing I wanted to see was anything to do with school. I wanted to enjoy my summer. Swim, play, get sunburned...anything but school.

Why is it that stores have to put things out so dang early? Anything to make a buck...
