Lady Antebellum started their week by picking themselves up off the floor after hearing of the news that they will be opening for music icon Bruce Springsteen in London this coming July.

The sold out show will take place at London’s famed Hyde Park on July 14 as part of the Hard Rock Calling music festival. While the big event is still several months away, the band is already anticipating the very special night that they will remember for years to come, thinking back on one of the biggest highlights of their continued rise to the top.

“It’s Springsteen … there is no entertainer we look up to more than him,” says Lady A’s Charles Kelley in a press release. “I’m going to be like a little kid at Christmas watching his show. It’s the biggest honor for us to be invited to play this festival. The entire lineup is awesome!”

It’s possible that Springsteen may have the same envious ways when it comes to the country group who is making noise across many musical genres. Lady A will be swapping venues on multiple stops on their current Own the Night 2012 World Tour in order to accommodate the masses, coming out in mobs to see what the entire world can’t seem to get enough of these days. The high demand for their July 13 show in Glasgow, U.K. has been moved to the Clyde Auditorium, and a second night has been added to their performance in Dublin, Ireland at the Olympia Theatre on July 10 — and 11.

This week, Lady A’s streak of filled-to-capacity shows will continue with stops in Washington, Oregon and California. Click here for a complete list of cities where they will be in the coming weeks.
