Lady Antebellum showed off their perfect harmonies and love for the stage on Tuesday (Oct. 22) when they performed their new single 'Compass' for the first time on 'Ellen.'

The seven-time Grammy winners demonstrated that although they took time off when frontwoman Hillary Scott had her baby, the trio's talent and zest for music cannot be trumped -- and their compass will always bring them back to the stage.

In her first appearance since having her sweet girl Eisele, Scott was beaming the minute the bluegrass-heavy, mandolin-driven music started and the audience began cheering. She looked gorgeous (of course!) in all black, with a touch of sparkle -- but it really couldn't compete with the happiness on her face while singing the trio's new song. All of the Lady A members looked more than excited to be onstage once again, and it showed in their energy and huge smiles.

Although Lady A just announced they are postponing their 2013 Take Me Downtown Tour, their performance on 'Ellen' assures fans that preparations to make this the best tour possible will be worth the wait.
