Why doesn't Lonestar's music get played much anymore? I'm not going to look up number of albums sold and assorted chart positions of all the different singles. I'm just sitting here, playing "Come Cryin To Me," and wondering why artists like this don't get much play.

The patriotic mixes of "I'm Already There" and "Amazed" were both huge radio hits. But, now more than ever, country radio is, "What have you done for me lately?"

That's why Brooks and Dunn don't get much airplay. And that is why the Golden Oldies Hour from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. is such a neat deal. Tell us what you want to hear and it gets played. That's the way it ought to be.
