Luke Bryan fell off the stage during his show in Charlotte, N.C. last night (May 29). The ‘Play It Again’ singer was quick to point out that the state seems to bring him bad luck -- it's his second fall in barely three months! This time he needed stiches.

Bryan and his band were covering the Macklemore and Ryan Lewis song ‘Can’t Hold Us’ when the singer stepped forward, thinking there was more stage to land on. There wasn’t. He fell hard into the pit before security rushed to help him up.

“The last time I was in North Carolina, I busted my a**,” Bryan says after taking a moment to recover (he managed to finish the song). He’s referring to this fall in Greensboro, N.C. on February 17. That one was more of a stumble, compared to this header.

The cut must have come on his leg as he later tweeted, “My socks scream liberty. Go USA.”

There's no reason to believe Bryan won't be good to go for a show tonight in Bristow, Va. His next day off is on Monday.
