Congrats to hit songwriter Luke Laird, who has co-written tracks for heavyweights like Carrie Underwood, Hunter Hayes and Jason Aldean. He and his wife Beth welcomed a baby boy.

On Sept. 9, Laird tweeted a photo of his wife with her out-to-there belly spliced with a photo of their newborn son, Jake Robert Laird, who weighed in at a healthy 8 lbs., 7 oz.

Get a look at the cutie in the photos below. So precious!

Laird has left an indelible mark on country music in recent years, as he has also written songs with and for the likes of Luke Bryan and Eric Church, among others. His resume is beyond impressive, but something tells us that little Jake might be his favorite creation so far.

Some of Laird's credits --and there are a lot-- include Underwood's 'So Small' and 'Temporary Home,' which were No. 1 hits for the singer, as well as the smash 'Pontoon' for Little Big Town. He also co-wrote Church's 'Drink in My Hand,' Hayes' 'Somebody's Heartbreak' and Brad Paisley's 'Beat This Summer.'
