Mandatory Vehicle Inspections

As I traveled up I-90 over the weekend I was shocked at the condition of some of the vehicles on the road.  Bad tires, broken glass, no tail lights or brake lights etc., all posing a danger to themselves and others.  So why do we not have yearly inspections on cars like we do trucks?

It’s mandatory that trucks be in safe and proper condition while on the road.  Well don’t we care about all the cars out there that have the potential to cause an accident?  Dead is dead, it doesn't matter what vehicle or what size of vehicle does the damage.  It should be road worthy, period.
