Today, in what can only be described as a complete coincidence, Mark and Paul kicked off their show with a block of songs from female artists.  This got Mark thinking back to his early years in radio, when his male chauvinist pig program director expressly warned him to never play two female singers back to back.  Fortunately, that climate of harassment no longer exists in country radio.

To this day, Mark is still traumatized by the bullying he received as a young, impressionable disk jockey.  Somehow, he managed to overcome the sexist attitudes that prevailed at the time.  It's a miracle he turned into the considerate, tolerant champion for equality he is today.  Paul is also proud of the strides we have made, pointing out that the Breakfast Flakes unofficial motto is "We Say Yes to Women".
