Mark Salutes Local Farmers

As many of you know, Paul is a farmer.  When he gets off the air every day, he heads home to the ranch and his real workday begins.  Mark, on the other hand, enjoys a life of leisure, occasionally interrupting his daily nap schedule to enjoy a cold beer or a round of golf.

Because he's worked with a farmer for so many years, Mark also likes to engage in "farmer talk" with people he meets around time.  He doesn't actually know how to farm, but he's got the lingo down.

This morning, Mark offered up another reason he appreciates our hard working farmers so very much.  He stumbled across an excellent Facebook post from his friend Jolene that read, "Barley makes beer.  Apples make cider.  Sugarcane makes rum.  Potatoes make vodka.  Grapes makes wine.  You can't get smashed without a farmer."
