As we gear up for our 2014 Billings Top Shot tournament next month, we sent Mark Wilson from the Breakfast Flakes down to the Blue Creek Sport Shooting Complex to compete in a shoot off against our afternoon guy Andy West.

Just like our contestants will next month, Mark and Andy tested their skills shooting rifles, pistols, shotguns and a bow.  Here's the tale of the tape:

Mark Wilson is a country boy, born and raised in Montana.  He’s been shooting guns since he could walk. He couldn’t even count how many prairie dogs he’s taken down over the years.    He’s a stalwart defender of the 2nd Amendment and, when it comes to marksmanship, he’s almost as accurate as his girlfriend.

Andy West, on the other hand, was born in Los Angeles.  The only guns he grew up shooting were attached to video games.  He would never take the life of a defenseless animal and he doesn’t eat red meat. When it comes to marksmanship, he once shot a bee bee gun and took down a beer bottle from 10 yards on the second shot.

Check out their first challenge, the rifle shoot.
