Montana Town For Sale for $1.4 Million

Barbara Walker,  the unofficial mayor and current owner of Pray, Montana, has put the town up for sale.  The town has a population of 197, most of which live outside the town, is lies about 30 miles north of Yellowstone National Park.

Pray is just 5 acres and sits in the heart of Paradise Valley near Big Sky homesteads, owned by celebrities such as Jeff Bridges and Dennis Quaid.  The town includes a general store, a small trailer park and a post office.

Walker, whose family has owned the town since 1953 says she has acted as Pray’s garbage collector and sheriff, but since her husband’s death in 2006, she hasn’t wanted to run the town alone any longer.
