Today is the final day to nominate a friend or family member for the Cat Country "Salute the Soldiers" contest. Here's a few of our latest entries.

Judy Campeau wrote in to nominate her father, Frederick O'Neil

"Frederick L O'Neil enlisted in the US Army in 1950 and was stationed at Camp
Atterbury in Indiana.  While stationed in Indiana he met his wife to be
Sara Mae Miller. He was honorable discharged and returned to Montana.
Freddy has since passed, but I will always be so very proud my dad for his service.

Kelly Higareda wants to recognize her husband Brian

"I am nominating my husband. He was in the National Guard and was activated to spend a year in Iraq. He is proud of the time he spent defending his country."

Anna Town wants to salute her friend Victoria Wolff

"Because she is a life long listener of your show and has had you guys with her throughout her service. She is a great loving person who, to this day, will put others before herself. I've heard you guys read the letter she has sent to you on air and enjoy that she kept everyone up to date. From basic training to Korea, her 15 month deployment to Iraq and even when she got out. I feel she deserves to be spoiled and have a great time. She loves rodeos and even surprised her dad at one when she returned from home. She isn't the same person when she left but she came back stronger then ever."

If you, or someone you know, has served our country in the Armed Forces, we'd love to salute their service.  Tomorrow morning, we'll randomly select three entries, who will each receive four VIP tickets for Wrangler Patriot Night at the Nile Rodeo on Saturday.  Plus, they'll be recognized at the event and we'll throw in free dinner at The Rex.  Here's the link to submit your nomination http://catcountry1029.com/cat-country-salutes-our-soldiers-nominate-your-soldier-today/
