Moss Mansion Fundraiser Tonight
My wife Keri and I were honored when Jenna from Moss Mansion asked if we would consider being “celebrity” waiters for their annual September fundraiser tonight. At the end of the night many great Billings residents and business owners came down to this historic museum on Division Street. The 2nd annual Party for Preservation had a goal of over $20,000 to just re-finish the first floor, floors!
The generosity in the silent auction tent was unbelievable as people bid on beautiful paintings from local artists. The live auction moved briskly with a trip to Maui for about $5,000 and a trip for two to Paris, France for almost $6,000. That Paris trip would normally have a $10,000 price tag.
Guests waiters included Yellowstone County Comissioner, Bill Kennedy and manager of Zoo Montana, Jeff Ewelt. Keri and I served 4 tables and happen to win the most tips for the fundraiser over the 3 1/2 hour event! We will wear our sash with pride!
Thank you to all who was part of this event including all who enjoyed the tender Pork Shank dinner and chocolate cake dessert from Tom Nelson catering. And a special shout out to Rudy and Clark from our Clark Marten Photography tables who put us over the top to win the Best Waiter D’ contest!
