If you are thinking of attending Montana State University Billings in the spring, even if it's just to enroll in a course or two, now would be the time to apply. Application fees are waived Nov. 2-8.

Spring semester courses at MSUB open for enrollment Monday; classes begin Jan 20.

The first week of spring registration coincides with the Montana University System’s third-annual College Application Week, Nov. 2-8, waiving the $30 application fee for admissions to MSUB. The week was initiated through GEAR UP, a federally funded program designed to help low-income and first-generation college students or Americans with disabilities pursue a college degree. MSUB offers the fee waiver to anyone interested in applying to one of its five colleges, according to a news release.

Also beginning Nov. 2, the MSU Billings Foundation calls for students to apply for scholarships for the 2016-2017 academic year. Current and prospective students can complete a single application to be considered for more than 600 awards. The priority deadline is Feb. 1.

Prospective students can register to tour campus during upcoming Preview Days, scheduled for Nov. 13, Feb. 26 and March 25. Native student Preview Day will be held April 13.

MSUB offers associate, bachelor’s and master’s degrees from nearly 100 different academic programs, 23 of which are offered fully online.
