Even if you didn't care for the rest of the show last night, I hope you got to see the tribute done for Glenn Frey of The Eagles who recently passed away. Glenn sang lead on the hit version of "Take It Easy." Last night that was handled by Jackson Browne, who co-wrote the song with Glenn.

As Warren Zevon struggled with the cancer that would eventually claim his life, he said, "Jackson Browne has a beautiful heart." And that seemed to be the case near the end of last night's performance as his voice seemed to falter in last part of the performance.

Also performing last night were original Eagles, Don Henley and Bernie Leadon. Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmidt sang and played and the "other" performer was Steuart Smith, who's been touring with the band for quite a few years.

Absent were Randy Meisner and Don Felder. Meisner was an original member. Felder was not. Felder is probably given the most credit for the breakup of the band back in 1980. When the Eagles reunited for "Hell Freezes Over" in 1994, he was again a problem and was eventually fired.

Felder tweeted, " I would've been honored to have joined The Eagles last night for the Glenn Frey tribute, but sadly wasn't invited." No class, Mr Felder. You are fired, and are no longer an Eagle. Please get over it. Sometimes in life, it's not about you.
