In Texas, High School Football is right up there with religion, and in a Texas suburb of Dallas they have built a new $60 million stadium for the Allen Eagles.

Two years ago the citizens of Allen Texas decided that their 14,000 seat stadium just wasn’t big enough and they needed an upgrade.  The new stadium will seat 18,000 people, and has a giant HD Scoreboard.  The press box is nicer than most college stadiums, and the private boxes are more like suites.

$60 million seems like a lot, but Allen Eagle Stadium is only the third largest High School Football stadium in the state, but it is the largest to be used by a single team.
