Flakesgiving 2014 is coming up this weekend in the MetraPark parking lot.  Mark and Paul are excited to be part of this annual Billings tradition.  For the first time in over 20 years, we ran out of meals last year.  Usually, we have a few meals leftover, which we donate to local food banks.

To make sure everyone gets a meal this year, Mark and Paul have made one minor change to help prevent people from cutting in line and getting back in line for extra meals.   Every family in line at Metra Park will receive a card.  That card must be presented in order to get a meal.  If you don't have a card, you'll have to go to the back of the line.

We always have several hundred people who line up early for this event.  If you'd like a meal, make sure to be in line NO LATER than 11:45 am on Saturday.  We want to make sure we have enough meals to go around.

Our 400 meals designated for delivery have all been reserved.  So, if you know someone who needs a Thanksgiving meal and they can't attend, you will need to send a person to pick it up for them.

To our generous supporters and volunteers, thank you so much for helping make Flakesgiving the largest event of its kind in Montana.  We will feed thousands of families once again this year and we couldn't do it without your help.

If you'd like to pitch in, we welcome volunteers on Friday and Saturday morning just after 10.  And donations are always welcome.  Send your contribution to Flakesgiving Fund, PO Box 1276, Billings, MT, 59103.
