I got my property tax statement yesterday. I didn't add anything to my home's exterior this past year. No new doors or windows. No new paint. I didn't re-shingle my roof. I didn't build on any type of extension or additional garage space. Nothing. Zero. Nada.

So, how can my taxes POSSIBLY have gone up. It cost a little over $150.00 MORE to live where I live than it did last year?

And now, our governor is talking about some "temporary" tax increases. Hell, no. You were the guy who ran a huge ad campaign bragging about what a great job you had done as Montana's head guy. And you bragged about your surplus money the state had because of how good you are at your job.

No. Not One Cent More. We already pay plenty of taxes. You guys up in Helena find enough things to cut to cover this.

Don't forget that every single person who buys gasoline in the our state, as of July 1st of this year, is now paying 4 1/2 cents more on every gallon of gasoline.

Another tax increase. Not one cent more.
