You know it's Monday when you get to work at 5 am and realize that you're drinking coffee from Friday.  That's how Mark's day started.  Luckily, he was able to find a fresh batch of brew and the Flakes opened up the phones for their weekly "One Line Monday" question. This week, we want to know:  would you rather go to a non profit or a for profit hospital?

We heard from several Cat Country listeners who talked about the health care system up in Canada.  As flawed as our system is here in America, we wouldn't trade it for Canada's. The general consensus was if you are sick and you had the money, you'd want to pay extra for the best care you could get.

Paul pointed out that even people who can't afford healthcare can get it in our country. The reason why we all work and pay for insurance is so we can have access to better facilities.  If you take away the medical industry's ability to make a profit, you will end up with a system that cuts corners at every turn (and we don't want that).

If you've got an opinion, we'd love to hear.  Send your comments to Flakes103@yahoo.com.
