This morning, the Flakes read a new survey that says 70% of people think it's unacceptable to expect a date to pay for everything.

Call us old fashioned, but Mark and Paul think the person who does the asking should do the paying.  For today's One Line Monday Question, we opened up the phones and found out what Cat Country listeners think about the survey.

Christine called in to tell us about her 21 year old son.  Evidently, his dance card is full with girls who want to take him out.  Mark joked that her kid must have quite a reputation.  Why settle down with one gal when you can get a free meal every night of the week?

Another lady called up to agree with the Flakes.  She think anyone who ask someone out and not at least offer to pay is a big loser.  Of course that changes when you're in a relationship.  When she and her husband go out to dinner, she's always the one that pays.  Because she's the one who holds on to all the money.  Paul still pays for his wife when they go out.  He's been paying for 26 years and he plans to keep paying for another 26 years.

Interesting enough, 1/3 of the people in the survey think it's ok to conduct an internet search to learn more about a potential date.  Which makes since in this day and age.  If you're gonna go out with someone, at least make sure they didn't recently escape from prison.

What do you think?  Should the person who does the asking also do the paying?  Feel free to drop us a line with your opinion, flakes103@yahoo.com.
