Paul’s Weekend From Hell

How was your weekend?  If you didn't have a hemorrhoid surgically removed with a grinder, it was better than Paul's.

According to Paul, this may have been the worst weekend of his entire life.  20 degrees below with snow and wind isn't fun for anybody, but it's hell for farmers and ranchers.  Out on Paul's ranch, everything that could go wrong...did.

Water pump broke, generator stopped working, heaters quit, calves dying, frozen ears and feet, getting stuck in the snow, roads closed...you name it.  It was just relentless.  Of course, farmers and ranchers don't get to punch out at 5.  As soon as you're done fixing one problem, another one pops up.

Paul can pinpoint the exact moment he lost what was left of his sanity.  When the temperature dropped to 31 below zero, all he could do was close his eyes and dream of a beach in Mexico.

Luckily, the weather is warming up this week.  Old Man Winter isn't through with us yet, but let's hope we've seen the worst of his wrath.
