Popeye’s Chicken Chain Coming to Billings

Another major fast food company is getting ready to set up shop in Billings.  Popeye's Louisiana Chicken was recently granted a building permit for a new store on Southgate Drive.

This will mark the first Montana location for the nationwide chain, which has over 2,000 restaurants across the country. While they are still in the early stages of development, the Billings franchise is expected to open sometime in 2015.

Great, just what Billings needs.  Another fast food chain that will make us even fatter. The Flakes already know how this book ends.  When it opens, hundreds of people will stand in line.  Six months later, the store will sit empty.
