Raise the Age of Legal Consent in Montana

The legal age to consent to sex in Montana is 16. That's right, 16. Whoever came up with that number? It's time to raise that to 18.

Can anyone tell me what the benefits would be by allowing sex at such a young, vulnerable and impressionable age? No, you can't. There are none.

By increasing the age to 18 we could possibly avoid a plethora of problems -- teen pregnancy,date rape, 40-year-old scum bags who prey on their naivety and beat the system and on and on.

Let's change it. Life is hard enough. We need to give our kids a chance, more importantly, moral direction.
