Do you always stop a a red light?  If you do, do you always adhere to the law?  When stopped at red light on North 27th Street, while waiting for a train, is it legal or not to take a left onto Montana Avenue when you have a red light?

According to Drivinglaws.org  it would be illegal to make the turn left off North 27th Street onto Montana Avenue on a red light.

Left-on-Red Rule   In Montana, a motorist can do a left turn after stopping at a red light only from a one-way street onto another one-way street. Of course, motorists need to follow the normal right-of-way rules and proceed with caution when making the turn.

So for the car behind me honking like and A**hole who then passed me in the oncoming lane and then guy in the pickup behind them who felt the need to speed past us and make the illegal turn.

You're lucky you didn't get T-boned by oncoming traffic.

Why are we in such a hurry?
