This mornings Cat Scan traffic:

Motorists need to be aware that an arctic cold front will be slipping into the region today bringing with it the possibility of snow…mainly from Billings west to Harlowton and the Beartooth foothills. Brisk Northeast winds will then develop behind it bring dangerously cold wind chills. If your planning on traveling tonight through Saturday make sure you take all the necessary precautions.

In Billings all roads are either snow packed, partially snow packed or slushy…expect icy and slick intersections this morning.

I-90 from The Bozeman Pass to the Wyoming line including throughout the Billings and Laurel area…mostly dry and clear with some wet and icy sections.

I-94 from the Rosebud/Treasure county line to the North Dakota border….the driving lane is mostly clear with occasional scattered snow and ice.

US-212 from Rockvale to Red Lodge and MT-78 from Red Lodge to Columbus…mostly wet with icy sections.

US-87 from Billings to Roundup and MT-3 from Billings to Lavina…scattered snow and ice.
