Oh man, do I love my Crockpot. I don't know why I don't use it more during the summer. Maybe because we grill so much.  But honestly, a slow cooker is simply awesome. I use mine about once a week in the winter. Yesterday I made a classic pot roast with a beautiful 4 lb chuck roast.  Baby red potatoes, carrots, celery, onions... all the good stuff.  Turned the juice into homemade gravy.  MMMMMMM! I'm hoping the kids don't find the leftover roast beef before I get home.

The nice thing about a crock pot is that you can't really screw anything up. Throw the ingredients in, turn it on and walk away.  I haven't had anything turn out gross. I've made chicken in this bad boy, shredded pork loin, stews, soups. I've seen recipes where you can bake things in it too, like cake or rolls.  Haven't tried that... yet. What are some of your favorite slow cooker meals?
