Roundup Sandbags Will Stay In Place Until June
Major flooding in 2011, wild fires in 2012 and two more years now, 2013 and 2014 of more flooding. The clean-up from February’s flooding has now begun with 50 volunteers stepping up from the Mormon Church in Roundup to begin phase one of the recovery process this weekend.
With the disasters from the past four years Musselshell County residents have learned how to be more resourceful during the events and the clean-up afterwards. Musselshell County DES Director, Jeff Gates said,
It’s not easier but we’re more organized.
Jeff Gates and many residents in the Roundup area say they are concerned about additional flooding with the spring run-off, therefore sandbags will stay in place until at least June.
