Cat Country is proud to present Florida Georgia Line in concert this Thursday (7/28) but we received word of security measures that you need to be aware of.

There have been a lot of bad things happening worldwide and even close to home so I respect MetraPark for taking steps to ensure the safety of everyone involved with this show.

Here is what MetraPark said will happen:

All guests will be required to be checked with an electronic wand before entering the venue. All purses will be checked and all pockets must be emptied at security checkpoints. Guests can help speed their entry into the venue by leaving any items that might delay them in their cars before attempting to enter.

Bill Dutcher, MetraPark General Manager said:

"We want to assure a safe concert environment for everyone. Our crowd management team has been practicing the procedures to get people into the building and seated as quickly as possible. Arriving early to the show will be important to helping us make that happen."

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show kicks of at 7 p.m.
