Happy Mother's Day weekend and thanks for all the hard working moms for everything you do.

Shannon Johnson was the big winner in our "Montana Mom" contest.  Here's what her husband Michael had to say about her.

"My mom passed away when I was a teenager, but I would like to nominate my wife of almost 11 years for free LASIK. Shannon is a hard-working person who literally can 'do-it-all.' She is working full-time at a retirement planning company, is attending night classes to receive her license in massage therapy and is also in another program to complete her Naturopathic Doctorate. She is passionate about Young Living essential oils and teaches on the subject every month to spread her knowledge and compassion for others' well-being. She spends countless hours counseling individuals on how they can achieve health naturally and is encouraging to all those who have the benefit of speaking with her. She does all this while taking an active role in our children's lives while I am working nights. She has been asked to teach on conference calls on health-related topics and she excels at everything she does. She still manages to manage finances for the household and does the grocery shopping too! I am blessed to be married to a woman who's goal is to improve the lives of our family while she continues with her own development in what she is passionate about. No one deserves this more than her!!"

He's good.

Shannon's about to have the best Mother's Day ever.  Our friends at the Eye Clinic Surgicenter are setting her up with FREE LASIK.  She'll also enjoy a Mother's Day feast at Fancy Sushi and a bouquet of flowers from the Garden Avenue Greenhouse.

Thanks to everyone who nominated a Montana Mom, all of the awesome moms who were nominated, all the people who voted and the great local business who sponsored the contest..
