Bullying is a problem everywhere and hurts everyone. Almost everyone agrees that it needs to stop, but no one has had the ability to do that yet.

There have been plenty of ideas come through on how to take this problem head on but nothing has really worked. Bullying in our schools still happens.

In Shawano, Wisconsin there is a new law that forces the parents of the bully to take action. If your kid is caught bullying in this town then you have to pay a very hefty fine.

For the first offence the city counsel approved a fine of $366. Ouch! If your kid gets caught a second time within a year that fine jumps up to $681.

If that was my kid, it would most definitely be handled.

What do you think? Should they put that to work in Billings?
