Country music fans can steal a peek inside the life, tour bus and bedroom of ACM award-nominated duo Thompson Square in this fast-paced video just released on the married couple’s YouTube page. ‘Sh-t Thompson Square Says’ (despite the title, it’s safe for work) is a play on the title of a book, William Shatner television show and internet trend.

A few gems from the two-and-a-half minute video include Keifer Thompson getting ‘denied’ on several occasions and Shawna Thompson’s habits of making the couple late and losing things. They are also seen in their car, on the tour bus, in their living room and trying to kill each other while playing a video game.

“I’m gonna cut ya, I just cut ya,” Shawna says with an undeniable cuteness at one point. “Do you play with yourself when I’m not around?” her husband asks. Out of context that question could have other implications, but… well, everything in this video is out of context, so who knows what he was asking about.

“Is that your foot?” Shawna asks lying in bed with her back turned to Keifer. “Nope,” he replies with a sly grin. The duo put the video together as an introduction to last month’s New Faces Show performance during Country Radio Seminar, and as an entertaining way to remind ACM voters to choose them for the Vocal Duo of the Year category at the ACM Awards on April 1. Love and Theft, Montgomery Gentry, Steel Magnolia and Sugarland are also nominated in the category.
