Sidney School Teacher Sherry Arnold’s Funeral Set for This Friday

According to the Billings Gazette, funeral services has been set for this Friday for Sidney native Sherry Arnold. News came last week that officials had recovered Arnold’s body near Williston, about 50 miles northeast of Sidney where the 43-year-old wife and mother of 2 had lived and worked most of her life. The beloved Sidney, Montana high school teacher, was kidnapped, killed and buried in North Dakota in January.
Fulkerson Funeral Home is handling the arrangements and says the service for Sherry Arnold will be held at the Sidney High School gymnasium at 2 p.m. Arnold will then be laid to rest in the Sidney cemetery.
The two men suspected of killing Arnold, Michael Spell and Lester Van Waters Jr., have pleaded not guilty to aggravated kidnapping in the case, and are being held in the Richland County jail on $2.5 million bond each.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Sherry Arnold and her family and friends as they grieve her loss. May she now rest in peace.
