Children of the '80s and '90s pretty much learned everything they need to know from TV. (It was basically like a third parent.) Besides "very special" sitcom episodes, one of the major ways we learned about how to say no to drugs and avoid "stranger danger" was from public service announcements.

Carrie Underwood celebrated her 29th birthday over the weekend (Saturday, March 10) with a little help from her friends. The singer’s closest pals treated the mega-star to a little trip down memory lane with a surprise 80s-themed birthday bash in Nashville.

Who doesn’t love when their favorite singers cover a popular ’80s song? Last week, country duo Sugarland and singer/songwriter Sara Bareilles performed ‘Come On Eileen,’ as part of their show at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles. Bareilles is currently touring with Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush, who make up the bubbly country duo.
