Even so, the peacock has become the first among the five to set its major schedule, moving 'Revolution' and 'Parenthood' to new nights, scheduling Jonathan Rhys-Meyers 'Dracula' for fall and moving 'Community' and more to midseason! Granted the two series aren't actually in competition, 'Community' fans grudge against 'Whitney' has just gotten even bigger. Where once both series were scheduled to debut on Friday, October 19, NBC opted to delay the launch and fit each in at a later date. 'Whitney' quickly got placement into the failing 'Animal Practice' slot, leaving 'Community' to rot until February, so how could things get any worse? When NBC orders even more scripts for the critically-maligned 'Whitney,' of course!

Streets behind! For those of us anxiously awaiting the fourth season of NBC's 'Community,' and the first under new show-runners Moses Port and David Gurarascio, the wait just got a little longer. Details are still pouring in, but it seems NBC has reneged on its plans to premiere both 'Community' season 4 and 'Whitney' season 2 on October 19, potentially taking either comedy off of Friday as well. But why would NBC make such a last-minute change, and when will we get our beloved 'Community?'
