May is finishing with a flurry of rain, hail, and even snow in places — that is giving drought watchers hope as the summer season looms.

Hay in Short Supply
We had a late freeze last year that cut into hay production, couple that with a wet spring this year that is extending the hay-feeding season, and it all adds up to a tight supply of hay and rising prices.
