We had a late freeze last year that cut into hay production, couple that with a wet spring this year that is extending the hay-feeding season, and it all adds up to a tight supply of hay and rising prices.
We’re not the only ones who are worried about the lack of rain. Many ranchers and farmers are really going to be in trouble if the weather doesn’t cooperate.
