Just a little something from the archives because we figured you guys are all sick and tired of listening to and/or reading about politics. So we dug this little gem up out of the archives. The late Patrick Swayze’s Johnny Castle character from ‘Dirty Dancing’ has been immortalized in wax by Madame Tussauds Hollywood.

Swayze’s widow, Lisa Niemi, who was on hand for the unveiling, posed with the statue, recreating a scene in which Johnny taught Jennifer Grey’s Baby character the importance of balance in dance.

Lately, it seems Hollywood is happier living in the past than in the future, what with remakes of films like ‘Footloose’ and squeezing every last drop of nostalgia out of comic book superheroes.

Now you can add another to the list — it’s been confirmed that ‘Dirty Dancing,’ the 1987 film that made household names of its stars Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey, is getting a reboot, as well.
