Montana fires

Governor Greg Gianforte (R-MT) weighed in against mask mandates in Montana schools and also gave us an update on the fire situation facing the state. The state has now seen more than 500,000 acres burned.

"Multiple structures have been lost last night and into the early morning. Aviation resources are continuing to drop retardant and water on this fire."

Apparently white domestic terrorism is cool...as long as you're a Biden Democrat. How in the world is the nomination of Tracy Stone-Manning to head up the BLM still moving forward? Here's some of the stories that caught my eye while I was out.

Dixie is the largest forest fire in the area.

Money is being raised all over the country for Texans in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.  When was the last time money was raised nationally for victims out west of natural disasters? Remember the flood in Minot or Grand Forks?  Where was the help...

Ask your Governor why 30 million dollars was cut from our firefighting fund this year.  Then ask him why the Drought Advisory Board was telling us that we were in great shape back in May.  By the way, the Drought Advisory Board is made up of other people from state government...
