I am so happy and so pleased to tell you about my new favorite holiday. It's one that is near and dear to my heart and I hope that you will celebrate it with me! I bet you didn't know it, but it's National Hug A DJ Day" tomorrow, August 2nd! Will you come by and give me and my fellow DJ's a hug?
So I'm sitting at home last night enjoying the cool from the air conditioning and searching the internet for the latest news in the U.S. and State. When, low and behold I run across a story that was released by the Fish, Wildlife and Parks department.
I have wanted to hang from a zip line speeding through the Central American jungle for as long as I can remember. I finally got my wish... minus the jungle. I went zip lining on the Gallatin River just west and south of Bozeman (about half way to the Big Sky ski resort)
Like most people I wait until April 15th to file my taxes. I usually use tax software and file my federal and state taxes through e-file. According to the Montana Department of Revenue's website, since I e-filed I should have received my refund within 2 weeks of them accepting my tax return meaning I should have got my refund on May 1st
I love to go camping. Pure and simple. I love the outdoors, hanging with family and friends and most of all..I love the campfire! The smell, the warmth, pretty much everything about it. But where's the best place to go camping?
Now before I get everyone excited that we might see some repeat of last year when University of Montana cornerback Trumaine Johnson was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the 4th round I should come clean... while Dan Moore is top rated prospect from a Montana college he isn't likely to be drafted. According to CBSsports.com Moore is the 614th rated prospect nationally and the 15th highest rated fullback... a position not in vogue in today's NFL very often.
If you're a fan of live poker tournaments like I am then you owe a debt of gratitude to Rep. Pat Noonan, D-Ramsay, who introduced House Bill 141 on behalf of the Gaming Advisory Council on January 15th
Well there were many things going on last weekend here in the Magic City. St. Patty's Day Parade, celebrations, and the most important of them all...Prom! At at least 3 different highschools. Why they did that on St. Patty's Day weekend beats me though.
