It's that time of year again, when our building (The Crowne Plaza) has the windows cleaned, from top to bottom! Which requires a handful of people totally okay with being suspended 23 floors above the ground just to some really tough to reach windows. We took a few photos to show you how crazy this work is!

The Alive at Five season has finally begun! Despite some bad weather that delayed the start of the music series by a week. For the second straight week I borrowed a Cannondale bike from the Downtown Billings Association's Loan-A-Bike program. First I need to thank Joe Trout who heads up the program for loaning me a bike over the weekend. Luckily on Saturday the weather was fantastic so I got a great ride in whereas last week it rained the whole time...

Walking to lunch today in Downtown Billings I found this flyer. They're looking for people who want to photograph butts (or have pictures taken of their butt), blog about butts or paint a fine butt. The contacts, Zach and Yaz, certainly have come up with a unique idea for a periodical but will it be profitable and have mass appeal...

If you're a regular reader of my blog (assuming there are regular readers of my blog... anyone? Crickets.) you know I visited Pictograph Caves State Park this Sunday and had a great time. It is a good, vigorous hike up to the caves from the parking lot, lots of greenery and spectacular views, picnic spots and the excitement of not knowing if a rattlesnake is just around the corner...

On my way to work I saw this Downtown Billings sign on 27th street broken off at it's moorings. What was weird is that I didn't see a dent where a car would have struck the sign. It's almost as if it fell on it's own. Hopefully no one was hurt...

This morning I took a look out of my office window and the sun was hitting the steam coming from the Conoco-Phillips plant just right and I got this great shot!

As you may be aware, I'm new to Billings. I accepted a position here as the afternoon host on Cat Country 102.9. I love Montana and actually spent a few years in Great Falls growing up. I'm happy to be back in Montana but one of the things I miss about California is the Meyer lemon tree in my backyard...
