Sarah Palin has finally ended months of speculation and announced she will not seek the GOP nomination for president.

The former Alaska governor and 2008 vice-presidential candidate issued a statement that read in part, “As always, my family comes first and obviously Todd and I put great consideration into family life before making this decision. According to the LA Times, the daytime icon will interview President Barack Obama and his wife, First Lady Michelle, on April 27.
